SSPC was founded in 1950 as a non-profit professional society concerned with the use of coatings to protect industrial steel structures. SSPC is the only non-profit association that is focused on the protection and preservation of concrete, steel and other industrial and marine structures and surfaces through the use of high-performance industrial coatings. SSPC is the leading source of information on surface preparation, coating selection, coating application, environmental regulations, and health and safety issues that affect the protective coatings industry.

What makes ISO 9000 Different? The ISO 9000 family is among ISO's most widely known standard ever. ISO 9000 has become an international reference for quality requirements in business to business dealings.
ISO 9000:2001 is particularly concerned with "quality management". This means what the organization does to enhance customer satisfaction by meeting customer and applicable regulatory requirements to improve its performance in this regard. In order to maintain certification, annual surveillance audits must be performed by our ISO Registrar, Moody International.

The mission of the American Galvanizers Association is to preserve, enhance, and protect the existence of the hot-dip galvanizing industry throughout North America, and to fulfill the needs of the industry for technical, marketing, and other services.
The AGA provides information on the most innovative applications and state-of-the-art technological developments in the field of galvanizing. The AGA maintains an extensive technical library and provides multi-media seminars in order to educate and train the specifying community. The association celebrates over 65 years of preserving the past, enhancing the present, and protecting the future. Members of the AGA have access to a vast resource of technical, safety, and environmental information.
Further certification is available under the AGA, such the designation of "Master Galvanizer". This designation is awarded to applicants who meet required criteria.
